Robert Childree is a seasoned professional and dedicated family man, currently serving as the General Manager at Zannino Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has earned certificates in Accounting, Management, and Leadership and Ethics. He is further advancing his expertise with an MBA as a student at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, class of 2026.

Born and raised in Durham, NC, Robert's career began in automotive management before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in May 2001. After 20 years of honorable service, he retired as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO) Captain and is a 100% service-connected disabled veteran.

Robert is married to Denise, a neuroscientist at the National Science Foundation, and together they have two sons, David and Luke, with a third child on the way. His family and community are central to his life, as is his support for the Duke Blue Devils.

Robert’s commitment to social issues deepened after following Daniel Belew’s YouTube channel and podcasts. This media exposure shed light on the pervasive problem of homelessness in the United States and its devastating impacts on various societal facets. Motivated by this realization, Robert is driven to make a positive impact in the lives of those heroes affected by homelessness, aspiring to help as many individuals as possible through his involvement with the non-profit organization Rescue + Residence.
