Rodeo X Rigs Tour - December 2024

While the Rodeo X Rigs events focus on overlander and offroad vehicles, the community there is very connected to the aspects of freedom and mobility associated with our mission. Some of our rigs will surely be fully overland capable and connecting with the community here will be great for us.

We are planning to attend most, if not all, of the Rodeo X Rigs events to meet more supporters and learn/support the Rodeo X Rigs mission. All of the dates are on our calendar now but we will confirm them as we get closer.

Desert United Luncheon (May)

In 2007, the Desert United Luncheons came to life as a response to the housing market crash and the economic hardship that swept through our local community, affecting businesses and entrepreneurs alike. Witnessing the struggle of fellow business owners and the toll it took on families, the founder, Mario Hernandez, was compelled to contribute to the recovery efforts. Together with his dedicated team, they pooled resources to establish the Desert United Luncheons, a gathering place for local professionals and business owners to foster connections, both personal and professional.

Going on their 17th year of hosting these monthly luncheons, they consistently draw 80 to 150 attendees each time. They aim to unite a diverse crowd of professionals, ranging from retailers, hospitality establishments, and contractors to service providers, nonprofits, and aspiring college students. The central objective is simple yet powerful: to build robust relationships and expand our collective resources.

Desert jAMBOree 2023

There are vanlife and tinyhome conventions/events all across the country, many with a unique vehicle focus (van, tiny, skoolie, etc.). None of these events focus on the ambulance builds people are doing... yet.

Our event will have music, comedians, competitions, guest panels, food and vanlife vendors, and booths for our major supporters. We are hoping to pull in several local area elected officials to provide a closing remarks/leadership panel as we close out the event.
