Cathy Hancock

Leader, Nurse, Mother, Adventurer, Educator, Bowler.

Cathy is the mother of two sons, both of whom served in the Military (Marine for 4.5 years, and Army for 22 years). She is a devoted supporter of our military veterans and is an advocate for meeting their needs.

She is a retired nurse 35 with years of experience in surgical services. Cathy earned her AA, ADN, and BSN Degrees with an emphasis in Community Health and her MN with an emphasis in Education. She has served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist overseeing 36 departments in 6 hospitals in the Legacy System in Portland, Oregon. She then managed 34 primary care and specialty clinics in PeaceHealth Hospital System in Vancouver, Washington.

She served on the Ethics Board for 5 years and was a member of the Community Outreach Board. she was on the Board of Directors (BOD) for the American Business Woman’s Association in Camas Washington for 11 years. While there she served as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

She served on the Board of Directors for the Columbia River Bowling Association in Vancouver, WA serving as Secretary and Treasurer of the league for 12 years. As a Nursing Instructor at Clark College in Vancouver, WA (2000-2006), she served on the scholarship board and the Nursing Department Curriculum board. She is also currently on the Board of Directors for her Home Owners Association in Idaho City, Idaho.
